Templates
The Templates page under Bid Proposal -> Templates shows you a list of pages that you can edit to add content appropriate to your company.
- Click on the Pencil icon under the Edit column.
- Adjust the text to suit your company needs:
Note: You will want to take care not to delete or remove tags. Tags are enclosed in {{ }} symbols.
Ex: - Click Save.
Note: You can cancel your changes or reset the template back to the default state by clicking the Cancel or Reset button.
Create Proposal
After you have finished editing your templates click on Bid Proposal -> Create Proposal to generate your proposal.
- Click on the dropdown box under Choose Prospect to select the prospect you want to create the proposal for.
- Click on the dropdown box under Choose Template to select the template style you would like to use.
Note: Corporate is the only template style currently available. We will be adding additional templates in the future. - Under the Choose Section area, choose the pages you would like to include in your proposal. If you want to include a Pricing Proposal page please be sure to select a Bill Rate from the Select Bill Rate dropdown box.
- Click the Create button.
Proposal List
The Proposal List page can be found under Bud proposal -> Proposal List and will show you the proposal you just generated from the section above, or any previously generated proposals.
Download a Proposal
- Click on the green Download icon under the Action column.
- Your browser will download the PDF file for the proposal you generated and open it in your browser.
Note: If the proposal generates with a page that has been split between two pages (ex: the cover letter) you may need to reduce the number of line breaks / paragraphs that the template contains, then refresh the proposal to see your template changes.
Refresh a Proposal
If you have made any changes to a proposal (such as updating the template) you may want to refresh the proposal you previously created instead of creating a new one.
- Click on the orange Refresh PDF icon under the Action column.
- Click Yes on the confirmation alert that appears.
Delete a Proposal
- Click on the red Trash icon under the Action column.
- Click Yes on the confirmation alert that appears.
Email a Proposal
- Click on the blue Send Email icon under the Action column.
- Enter:
- E-Mail Address of the person you want to send the Proposal to.
- Subject for your e-mail.
- Message you want to include in the e-mail.
- Click Send.
- After the email is sent you can click on the + icon next to the Proposal to see if the message has been opened by the recipient and when they opened it.
